copper window screens
so far I've seen two of the grant recipient houses restored with copper window screens. and although I am not a huge fan of window screens on the front of houses, these definitely look unique:

damn, all of these revamps of houses in anacostia that you're documenting are fantastic. i bet every neighborhood wishes they could be doing this!
I would be concerned about scrappers trying to steal the copper, however. Copper is a really hot commodity in this tough economy. Stay vigilant.
