Hello Yellow

step one: get historic homeowners grant.

note: those are just storm windows. the house had no real windows.

step two: start scraping.

step three: let the not-so-mellow transformation begin.

step five: new windows!

step six: stand back and enjoy.

that mustard color is ugly. I hate walking by this house now!

Agreed. Is that considered historic? I prefered the white.

the color is certainly bold - but for me, I think it's the house next door that tarnishes it overall. the red and yellow combo is a worn-out fast food color scheme that I tend to associate with not-awesomeness.

so, here's to the red house going for the exterior re-do!

Nope, the mustard is what's bringing it down...along with their property value. No joke, I would have changed it before the paint even dried if it turned out like that. I shudder every time I walk past.
Ten bucks says they are Redskin fans and planned the color based on their neighbor.
