I would like to ask you to delete this post. Though it is quite interesting to see the wide range of tweets about Anacostia, knowing the historical context of the "n" word offends me as well as many other people. This is nothing against you as I know you did not choose to use that word. Thanks!
I agree that the word should not be used, but sadly it comes up extremely often on the streets and on twitter. I'm not going to pretend it doesn't happen.
Not asking you to "pretend" it doesn't happen as we should all know it does. I was just asking you to remove it since it can be considered and offensive word. However if you don't feel the same I can not judge you.
I think the issue of the N word goes far beyond the post. People seem to say what they say and that is the reality of what I see everytine I go on Twitter and reference Anacostia. Sad, but true.

hmmm...interesting. I wonder how it compares to tweets about other neighborhoods. like Petworth and Columbia Heights, Bloomingdale, Hst NE, etc.
