via the 11th Street Bridges



although I would have loved to see some aerial photos of Anacostia itself, Flickr user Stephen Elliot took some amazing shots of DC from a helicopter. The neighborhood is just to the left of this picture, but it shows Anacostia's proximity to the rest of DC.

    This picture makes a pretty strong argument for a stronger DC-based Anacostia River clean-up program...

    Thanks for the link! I'm afraid I don't have any other pictures of Anacostia though. Had I known it was going to be blogged about I might have tried to snap a few more. =)
