If those things that the sign is advertising are happening behind those walls, this looks like a really good thing. Keep checking back -- this is (I hope) a fast-evolving issue!

    I am a lifelong Washingtonian-and once worked as a librarian at the (still closed?) Anacostia Branch of the DC Public Library. It would do my heart good to finally, finally see your neck of the woods get the services and vitality it so desperately deserves.
